Re: THOR
You got it. Too bad the pic is so crappy, though:
The Destroyer
My favorite Thor opponent---ever. Picture perfect. Can't wait.

Re: THOR
It was the pix of the Destroyer from SHH. Thor is having a hard time with the Destroyer and Banner Hulks out and lends a hand. Or a fist. This makes him look like a hero and wala....

Re: THOR
Ok. Well, it will be interesting to see what kind of mentions/end scenes will be in Thor, and if any will include Hulk.
Sucks that we have to wait a year to find out!!!!

Re: THOR
Yeah, especially with the release of IM2 and the after the credit scene. I take it you’ve seen or heard of it? Talk about pretty damn cool

Re: THOR
No kidding, huh? Wow. The coolest thing of all: what you see in that sequence is true Marvel, baby--not a trace of Ultimates to be found!

Re: THOR
I'm officially hyped for this film. I knew the Destroyer was going to rock, but getting Thor right is the most important thing. Love that it's NOT the Ultimates look. Love that it's NOT a traditional-Viking look either. The circular plates look great and kudos to them for the raised, bright red cape. This is WAY more faithful than I expected. I generally prefer Thor with no sleeves, but I like the sculpted, molded look to these (as opposed to the scale mail in the current books).
Re: THOR
I agree, he looks way cool. I also like the beard. This is shaping up pretty good, so far.

Re: THOR
Yes, I agree. Really liking Thor. Gotta see the helmet at least once, though.
Not loving Cap at all.

Re: THOR
It gets a little disco around the boots and treads on the shoes. That's definitely the least "Thor" - like element to me.
Re: THOR
So I'm guessing that's some portion of the rainbow bridge (color to be added later?), since that appears to be Idris Elba as Heimdall standing on it in the gold togs. They're really going all out on this thing.

Re: THOR
AWESOME. Loki in the classic horned helmet, Odin has his helmet, the OdinSword is the throne...this looks better and better the more I see.
Re: THOR
This is new. Take a look at the canister behind him. Is that looks like the same one from TIH that General Ross got the Super Solider serum from? If so, big time Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Re: THOR
I was thinking that same thing! And how great is it that :
A) He's ripped
B) They had to bring the entire chunk of earth to transport the hammer
C) It appears to be raining inside! Thunder God in action!

Re: THOR
Ain't it, though?
I stand corrected about the pic--the movie's set in New Mexico and that's where SHIELD finds the hammer in IM2. Looks like they built a makeshift research center over it.
