Good God. The one thing I was hoping to see but never thought I would is in...and it also happens to be the mysterious MK V armor. Wow.
Now we see why it wasn't listed anywhere in the toy breakdown last year!

Re: Iron Man 2
Yeah, that was pretty damn cool. This looks like it could be as good as the first.

Also love it's streamlined, segmented design--feels a lot like the classic "Golden Avenger" armor (with Silver Venger colors).
Re: Iron Man 2
Was at SHH reading what they thought there( why I do this I don't know) and they're already bitchin about the breifcase effects. Sheesh! The trailer looks pretty cool to me. I have questions but I'll wait unitl May for the answers.

About the briefcase FX...? Went through it frame-by-frame and it looks pretty freakin' amazing to me!
Re: Iron Man 2
5150, here!
Loved the armor-in-suitcase! Looked slick!
Are they going for a Silver Centurion vibe?

Well, we all know how the Hype can get...
I was absolutely psyched to see the briefcase armor, it did almost as much to psyche me up for IM2 as the thought of ScarJo in a leather body suit.
(Good to see ya, guys!)

Nivekian, 5150, and Obi-Ron: welcome! Thanks for joining us.
MTV has a little post about the history of the briefcase. Not enough artwork, though.

Wanna see something crazy?
And I never got a hard copy because the guy I sculpted it for cheaped me out in paying for the sculpt. This is 2/3rd of the way sculpted too.

Re: Iron Man 2
That is just incredibly badass. Finish it, paint it, and auction it. You'll probably make more than that deadbeat would have ever paid you. Wow!
Re: Iron Man 2
Unfortunatly, the guy I did the sculpt for owns the mold and the forms for thermal forming. The sculpt didn't survive the moldmaking process (supposedly).
I can always make another one, all I have of the helmet is sculpture pictures.

Sorry; that's what you meant by "I never got a hard copy". I mis-read it.
Awesome work, though.

Nice work Nivek. I wish I had any skill as good as that. That trailer looks amazing but I have to admit I cant wait to see the action sequences when he takes on truly powerful non armored villains and hopefully the Hulk in The Avengers. In both their individual movies they take on the most powerful villains with many similarities to themselves where as I would rather see them fighting "outside the box" so to speak.

Nivek, that sculpt rocks!!
It's nice seeing a few familiar faces around here.
It looks like we're getting the band back together...

Take this particular cameo speculation with many, many grains of salt.
What would this character be doing in Monaco?

One look at those blubbery, blurry abs on the guy in jail and "I say thee nay!"

Re: Iron Man 2
So who's got tickets? I've already booked two shows--one 12am Friday May 7, which means I should have my head examined. But Downey and Favreau showed up in person to intro the film at this same location and time in 2008, so maybe we'll get lucky again.
