I don't. But from what I read, I guess the book is getting pretty good right now (now that Pak & Parker are sharing writing duties with Loeb).

Well, I'm 99% certain of who it is. unless they pull off something lamer than Mr. Blue and the Hulk-Zombie clones.
Re: Incredible Hulk- Hulk Comics
This thread will probably have a long shelf life, so moved to Comics & Collectibles....

Planet Hulk
8.5/10
Thought it needed to end with Hulk coming back to earth, but other than that, I like how godlike they made Hulk, and not one glimpse at Bruce Banner?
I always kind of think that Banner is what the Hulk changes into to camafloge himself, but it's the same guy underneath it all, and King Hulk always ends up that way, even in the Jarella/Kai stories. I know alot of people gave Planet Hulk crap for being similar, but I think it's kind of tragic/ but darky cool that it's in a Warrior/ survival of the Fittest world, he end's up being Alpha.
I just wonder if marvel is getting all the characters under a Rat shaped protective dome before we get World War Hulk done proper.

Are you kidding? They are milking his yellow blood for all it's worth. Even though it's making Pak look bad working in Loebs limited vocabulary. Look how truncated Skarr is right now, I don't know where the kids head is.
BTW- Love the Mercyful Fate/ King Diamond Avatar!

wow, thought if i left hulk comics for a while, this red hulk biz would be over. guess he's sticking around. how is skaar, BTW? i know he's in the main comic, but i just can't seem to get into a hulk comic that doesn't . . . well, have the hulk in it.
glad you did the avatar. that's 'evil lad' the mascot for my craft-mafia business. it's pretty much all horror stuff.

I hate the concept of the character, but my stab-in-the-dark guess is that She-Poochie is Janet van Dyne.

Re: Incredible Hulk- Hulk Comics
Anyone see the one-shot that came out last week? It's called, "Hulk: Let the Battle Begin".
Here's a scan (spoilers, obviously):
Hmmmm...the forum seems to be cutting off the image, width-wise.
To see it in its entirety, click here.
I’m sure you’re wondering about the “Yeah, right…” text box at the end of the fight.
To put it into context, before the fight is shown, Banner is in a diner. A stranger keeps asking for his autograph, insisting that he’s the Hulk. Banner denies. The stranger persists in asking for an autograph. Banner agrees to sign it if the guy will leave him alone. Right before the fight, the stranger tells Banner, via a text box beside Thor, that reads, “I definitely won’t be bothering you again,” to which Banner replies, “Yeah, right…” via a text box right after the fight (as seen in the scan).

Stuff I'm wondering:
- Why does Hulk's face look like a cross between Man-Thing and the Joker?
- Since when can Hulk lift Thor's hammer? Since when can the hammer be taken out of Thor's hands?
- What's up with Hulk's bangs?

I'm pretty sure that fight is a story from the "fan's" perspective, I wouldn't read too much into it.

Okay, the scan I posted was the last page of a 3-page fight.
--The Hulk's face looked weird all issue, but it looked especially weird there because Thor had hit it with the hammer for two pages prior.
--Hulk didn't lift Thor's hammer--he grabbed Thor's hand, while he was holding the hammer, and forced it back into his face. Repeatedly.
--Thor dropped the hammer which is why it left his hands and hit the ground.
As you can imagine, the Internet is ablaze with ticked off Thor fans (and gleeful Hulk fans).
Here are links to the first two pages of that fight:
